TIMOR COFFEE

LEO LE ORGANIC TIMOR COFFEE

Organically grown in the wild forests of East Timorese highlands – Leo Le coffee is a beautiful blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee. Because it is grown in high altitude, the full potential of the coffee flowers and fruit are brought to fruition.

Unlike other coffee plantations, Leo Le Organic Coffee leaves the large shade trees that provide habitat for local native animals, standing. Other coffee plantations usually clear these large shade trees and drastically reduce the areas that local native animals can live and find food in.

Leo Le Organic Coffee Plantation had its first coffee tree planted back in 1950. The area where the plantation was started is traditional Timorese land and considered sacred land. Like many indigenous cultures, the Timorese understood the importance of caring for the environment so that the environment cares for you.

Leo Le Organic Coffee Plantation is the ideal location to ensure each biological process is as good as it can be i.e.: the growing of the coffee trees, the flowering and fertilisation of those coffee flowers, the strength and quality of the fertilised fruit, how the bean is picked, dried and roasted to make the delicious Leo Le Organic coffee bean.
